Idylle by Guerlain is a Floral fragrance for women. Idylle was launched in 2009. The nose behind this fragrance is Thierry Wasser. Top notes are Tincture of Rose, Freesia, Litchi and Raspberry; middle notes are Lily-of-the-Valley, Jasmine, Lilac, Peony and Lily; base notes are Musk and Patchouli. Idylle is the latest creation by Guerlain for mainstream distribution, introduced in September 2009. It has been created by Thierry Wasser and it is the first fragrance he created in his position as the succeeder of Jean-Paul Guerlain. This is how Wasser describes this beautiful floral perfume: "It started with a rose. The rose was a blend of Bulgarian roses, the 2008 harvest being fruity, with overtones of raspberry and litchee. To this blend was added the Plessis Robinson rose, created by Jean-Paul Guerlain out of love for the past – an old rose with fruity accents and a pungent fragrance. This, in turn, was mingled with a chypre harmony, emblematic of Guerlain, composed of patchouli and white musk, selected for its warmth. And lastly came the bouquet that complemented the roses to perfection: lily-of-the-valley, lilac, peony, freesia and jasmine. And so the fragrance was born: a shower of flowers, of petals, of subtle yet incisive freshness, balanced by sensuality. A nectar of flowers, an ode to life and love, in the warm light of radiant jasmine and the darker warmth of chypre, to express an ambiguity of feeling, and musk, like the scent of cashmere on the skin, a comfortable, intimate, physical sensation. In this combination of the personal, sensual, emotional facet of chypre, and the physical aspect of musk, and the declaration of love with the bouquet of flowers, the inexpressible idea was expressed, tender and ethereal, sensuous and romantic, fleeting and eternal."
Narciso Rodriguez L'Eau For Her by Narciso Rodriguez is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women. Narciso Rodriguez L'Eau For Her was launched in 2013. The nose behind this fragrance is Aurélien Guichard. Top notes are Peony, Jasmine and Cyclamen; middle notes are Lily-of-the-Valley, Rose and Amber; base notes are Musk and Patchouli. Narciso Rodriguez presented his famous fragrances For Her and For Her Eau de Parfum in 2004 and 2006. After that, there were many limited edition and variations on the original theme. In February 2013, a new, refreshing and lighter version called Narciso Rodriguez L'Eau For Her is launched. The original is warm, addictive, heady and musky. The new fragrance retains its sensuality but expresses it in the form of a light veil of body and skin scent. L'Eau is more playful and more youthful than the original. According to the designer, it symbolizes modern femininity which involves simple elegance and impulsivity. The composition consists of jasmine, cyclamen and sparkling pink peony, with rose, amber and frozen lily of the valley that form a silky veil. The base includes musk and chypre accords of patchouli, immanent to the For Her collection of fragrances. The campaign shows model Carmen Kass. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.
