"Bois de Balincourt is named after Marie's family country home outside of Paris called Balincourt. The scent is inspired by her long walks in the woods where she would come across scents in the damp surrounding forests. It's a sandalwood forward fragrance that's getting many rave reviews from Sephora customers, offering a dominant cedarwood and sandalwood accord, supplemented by a spicy cinnamon nutmeg complex with an earthy vetiver note. The top brings sandalwood and cedarwood, while the heart turns a bit spicy with vetiver, nutmeg, and cinnamon. In the base, amber wood rounds the composition off.
