The new pillar fragrance from Roberto Cavalli and Coty is Paradiso, out on the market in February 2015. The new fragrance is a refined, carnal, sensual and very feminine, but also relaxed and carefree holiday scent. It is designed to highlight the natural charm of women and to help women feel attractive. “Paradiso is about a moment of happiness. I wanted to give a feeling of that instant when you feel totally at ease,” said Cavalli to wwd. Paradiso is announced as a floral - woody fragrance of the Mediterranean and as a heavenly bouquet that opens with citrus notes of bergamot and mandarin, blending with the floral heart of jasmine. The composition ends with warm woody accords of cypress, parasol pine and pink laurel. The fragrance was created by Louise Turner. The bottle design, signed by Eva Maria Duringer, is inspired by the many facettes of diamond, as well as different aspects of a woman’s personality. Model Edita Vilkeviciute is chosen to be the face of the perfume, representing modern Eve in the Garden of Eden. The campaign is shot by Mario Sorrenti. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 75 ml Eau de Parfum.
Eden-Roc by Dior is a Oriental Floral fragrance for women and men. Eden-Roc was launched in 2021. The nose behind this fragrance is François Demachy. Top notes are Sea Salt, Mineral notes and Citruses; middle notes are Jasmine, Coconut and Mastic or Lentisque; base notes are Pine Tree and Labdanum. Simply named Eden-Roc, the new Maison Christian Dior fragrance is a vibrant ode to the most emblematic of luxury hotels along the French Riviera: the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc. The Eden-Roc fragrance is the olfactory image of this cape, whose exceptional locale evokes the lavish, sun-bathed atmosphere of this true Mediterranean paradise.Eden-Roc is the expression of an irrefutably simple and natural beauty; that of a sea salt crystal placed on the tip of the tongue, of bronzed skin warmed by the sun, of the protective canopy offered by a pine tree in the south of France. The Eden-Roc fragrance reveals itself in three colors: blue like the sea and the transparent waters of a divine pool, yellow like the sun stretching its rays onto the rock and leisurely bodies, green like the freshness of the pines standing tall in the hotel's lush garden. The creation is signed by François Demachy, in-house Dior perfumer. The fragrance opens with citruses, green and aquatic notes, with a mineral accord of white stone warmed in the sun. Its heart contains abstract "Far Niente" accord; a blend of suntan lotion scent with dominant coconut alongside white flowers, among which jasmine stands out. The base of Aleppo pine (which imitates the pine forest around the hotel) and labdanum complete the composition.Dior Eden-Roc is available as a 40ml, 125ml and 200ml Eau de Parfum.
