At the heart of 1707 Or by M. Micallef lies a tension between warmth and sweetness. The fragrance opens with a rich vanilla accord that immediately envelops you in comfort and familiarity, but it's not alone for long. Oud enters the composition, adding depth and an earthy, smoky complexity that cuts through the sugariness of the vanilla. This contrast is further heightened by the rose note, which brings a floral sweetness to the mix without overpowering the other elements. The base notes of amber and powdery accords anchor the fragrance, creating a warm, enveloping finish.
