Serge de Oliveira crafted Ormaie's 28 by infusing a bright citrus-aromatic opening with the rich warmth of tuberose and vanilla, creating a fragrance that balances freshness and sweetness. Launched in 2018, this composition starts with lemon, mandarin orange, and bergamot, which give way to floral heart notes like jasmine sambac and tuberose. The base notes of vanilla and sandalwood provide a comforting finish, making it a versatile scent for both day and night.

Serge de Oliveira began his career in 2002 as an assistant at IFF under perfumer Richard Ibanez, developing an affinity for woody notes like vetiver and patchouli. He joined Robertet in Grasse, becoming a perfumer there in 2013 before moving to its Paris creative centre, and is known as an 'author perfumer' working in natural perfumery, collaborating with brands including Ormaie and 100BON.
