Launched in 2020 by Alfred Dunhill, Agar Wood is a Woody fragrance crafted by perfumer Gino Percontino. The composition opens with the fresh spice of saffron and pink pepper, which quickly gives way to rich notes of black iris and agarwood (oud). This blend creates an intriguing tension between the sharp freshness of its top notes and the deep warmth of its base. The presence of suede and tobacco adds a layer of sophistication, making it feel both modern and lasting.

Application Tips
Agar Wood has a strong presence from the start, so one or two sprays are sufficient. The fresh spicy top notes are noticeable for about an hour, after which the warm woody base takes over. This fragrance is best suited for evening wear when its complex depth can be fully appreciated.
