Launched in 2017 and created by perfumer Chris Maurice, Alexandria Imperiale by Xerjoff is an Oriental fragrance that marries the richness of oud with woody warmth and subtle animalic notes. The composition opens with a fresh spicy bouquet of cardamom and lavender before transitioning into a heart enriched by rose and orris. At its core, the fragrance relies on Cambodian and Laotian oud, which are anchored by cedar, leather, and sandalwood, creating a complex interplay between earthy warmth and aromatic depth.
