Launched in 2012 by Pierre Aulas, Alien Essence Absolue by Mugler is a richer, more concentrated flanker of the original 2005 Alien. This Oriental Woody fragrance deepens and intensifies the signature jasmine-sambac-and-woody-amber accord that made its predecessor iconic. The composition opens with bright jasmine before diving intoCashmere Wood and Orris Root, which lend an earthy warmth. Vanilla Pod, White Amber, Myrrh, and Incense form a base that is both sensual and mysterious. Alien Essence Absolue is part of the early 2010s trend of niche-style 'absolue'/intensified reworkings of designer bestsellers, offering a more concentrated experience.
