Launched in 2015 by Mugler and crafted by perfumers Dominique Ropion and Claire Liégent, Alien Oud Majestueux is an Oriental Woody fragrance that weaves together the rich tones of oud with a warm, powdery base. The composition opens with saffron and cardamom, creating a spicy contrast to the floral heart of jasmine. The inclusion of Cashmeran adds a metallic edge, while agarwood (oud) and amber create a deep, luxurious warmth that lingers on the skin.

Application Tips
Alien Oud Majestueux develops best when applied directly to pulse points. The metallic notes can be quite pronounced initially, so one or two sprays are sufficient. Allow it about an hour for the warm base to fully settle in, making it perfect for a day-to-night transition.

Claire Liégent was born in the Champagne region and grew up in her father's restaurant, developing an early sensitivity to scent. She trained at ISIPCA from 2007 and apprenticed at Symrise, then worked at IFF and IFF-LMR in Grasse before moving to Takasago, where she has created fragrances for Giorgio Armani, Lancôme, and Yves Saint Laurent, including YSL Y. In 2012 she co-founded the Parisian niche boutique Nose.
