Launched in 2012 by Comme des Garcons and crafted by perfumer Jean-Christophe Hérault, Amazingreen is an aromatic green fragrance that challenges traditional notions of scent. The composition opens with a striking note of green bell pepper, which introduces a fresh, almost edgy quality. This contrasts beautifully with the warm, woody base notes like vetiver and white musk, creating a complex interplay between freshness and depth. The addition of flint and gunpowder adds an unexpected smoky element that grounds the fragrance in a distinctive way.
