Launched in 2018 by Amouroud, Lunar Vetiver is a composition that balances the crispness of aromatic and citrus notes with the warmth and depth of woody and earthy tones. Perfumer Jérôme di Marino crafts this scent as an olfactory memory, blending bergamot and pink pepper for a fresh spicy opening that contrasts beautifully with the lush greenery of sage and cactus flower. The heart of Lunar Vetiver is defined by the rich, grounding presence of Java vetiver oil, which melds seamlessly with vanilla and tonka bean to create a warm, enveloping base. This fragrance captures the essence of an olfactory memory — both light and warm, shimmering and dreamy.
Lunar Vetiver is best applied in moderation — one or two sprays are enough to capture its delicate balance. The fresh spicy notes fade within an hour, but the vetiver base continues to evolve on skin throughout the day. This fragrance reads better close to the skin rather than across a room, making it perfect for intimate settings.
