Amyitis by Mona di Orio is a Woody Spicy fragrance for women and men. Amyitis was launched in 2008. The nose behind this fragrance is Mona di Orio. Top note is Green Notes; middle notes are Iris, Violet, Guaiac Wood and Cedar; base notes are Oakmoss, Opoponax, Saffron and Amber. Amyitis is an aromatic green female fragrance introduced in 2008, as creation of the owner of Mona di Orio house. It was inspired by The Hanging Gardens of Babylon, built to please the queen Amyitis. The fragrance is balanced with nature and includes cumin, heather, green pepper and green notes at the top. The heart includes iris, violet, Guiac wood and Virginian cedar. Base notes finish the composition with saffron, opopanax, oakmoss and amber. It is available as 50 and 100 ml EDP.

A Signature Fragrance
Oakmoss
Oakmoss, derived from lichens growing on oak trees, exudes an unmistakable blend of damp forest floor and mossy green. Its scent is both deep and complex, with hints of woodsy freshness that evoke the quiet solitude of a shaded grove.
Opoponax
Opoponax is an enigmatic resin extracted from the roots of the Commiphora erythraea tree, native to East Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. Its aroma is complex, with notes reminiscent of incense, myrrh, and a subtle sweetness that evokes caramel or molasses, making it a cornerstone in perfumery for its depth and warmth.
Saffron
Saffron was never new to perfumery. It appears in records of Mughal compositions and in the great leathers of the seventeenth century, and it worked as a fixative inside classic chypres — always the under-paint, never the front of the bottle. The real absolute is punishingly expensive, and its leather-honey character was long thought too eccentric for the counter.
