Launched in 2003 by perfumer Raymond Matts, Aramis Life was created to embody the essence of a modern, sophisticated man. The fragrance opens with bright citrus and aromatic notes like lime and bergamot, which immediately capture attention with their freshness. As it develops, the scent transitions into a warm and woody heart with cardamom, mint, and violet leaf, adding layers of complexity and depth. Raymond Matts began his career at an Aramis counter in Brooklyn before working in fragrance development at Firmenich and IFF. At Elizabeth Arden he designed Elizabeth Taylor's White Diamonds, and he later served as Vice President of Corporate Fragrance Development Worldwide at Estée Lauder. He now teaches perfumery as a professor at the Pratt Institute in New York.
