Launched in 2012 by Giorgio Armani and crafted by perfumer Dominique Ropion, Armani Code Luna is a sophisticated Oriental Floral fragrance that balances bright citrus top notes with rich, warm base accords. The composition opens with bitter orange, bergamot, and petitgrain, creating an initial burst of freshness. This gives way to a heart of pear, orange blossom, osmanthus, and mirabilis, infusing the scent with soft floral and fruity nuances. The base notes of vanilla, tonka bean, leather, and cedar ground the fragrance with a warm, slightly earthy finish.

Application Tips
Apply Armani Code Luna with two sprays for the best longevity. The citrus top notes are bright but fade within an hour, so it’s ideal for daytime wear that transitions into the evening. For optimal effect, focus on pulse points to allow the rich base notes of vanilla and tonka bean to develop fully.

Dominique Ropion is a daring perfectionist, a true inventor. The risks he takes are invariably accompanied by a relentless pursuit of exact olfactory balance and flawless composition. His perfumes are like great architectural feats: in the same way that a bridge, whose seemingly miraculous suspension of weight is in fact a harnessing of counteracting forces, Dominique often balances excessive doses of powerful ingredients with meticulously-measured, subtler accords, until the composition holds up on its own. A good perfume, he likes to say, must always appear obvious.
