Launched in 2022 as a Parfum extension of the original Armani Code from 2004, this fragrance by Antoine Maisondieu adds an iris heart to the classic tonka-vanilla-lemon accord. The result is a composition that some reviewers hail as a smoother and more sustainable take on the original, while others find it overly sweet and vanilla-toned, perhaps lacking the edge of its predecessor. Armani Code Parfum opens with fresh bergamot and aldehydes before settling into a heart of iris and clary sage, eventually resting on a base of tonka bean and cedar.
