Ashore by Amouage, launched in 2020 and crafted by Mackenzie Reilly, is an Oriental Floral fragrance that embodies the duality of warmth and spice. It opens with cardamom and turmeric, creating a vibrant, aromatic top note before easing into the heart of jasmine sambac and rose. The base notes of ambergris, sandalwood, and olibanum lend a rich, animalic depth to the composition. This fragrance is an ode to Amouage's heritage in Oman, blending traditional Middle Eastern ingredients with modern perfumery techniques.

Application Tips
Given its long-lasting nature, one to two sprays is sufficient. The top notes are bright but fade within an hour, so it's best applied just before you step out for the day. This fragrance reads better close to skin than in a wide sillage.

Mackenzie Reilly, born and raised in New York, studied the anthropology of scent in college before working at the luxury publishing house Assouline. She joined IFF in 2010 as assistant to the Director of the New York Creative Center and was admitted to the IFF Perfumer School in 2013, going on to work as a fine fragrance perfumer at IFF in New York.
