Geoffrey Nejman and Jean-Claude Astier crafted Avant Garde by M. Micallef as a bold composition that juxtaposes bright citrus notes with warm spices and rich ambers. The fragrance opens with bergamot and grapefruit, creating an initial burst of freshness before giving way to the deeper, more complex layers of cacao pod and incense. As it settles into its base, tobacco leaf and ambergris blend seamlessly, adding a smoky, balsamic warmth that lingers on the skin.
