Launched in 2014 by Penhaligon's, Bayolea is a Citrus Aromatic fragrance for men crafted by perfumer Mike Parrott. The composition opens with lemongrass and citrus notes — mandarin orange and tangerine — that cut through the air with bright clarity. These top notes are quickly balanced by the warm spiciness of black pepper and cardamom, creating a dynamic tension between freshness and warmth. At its heart, Bayolea features lavender and neroli, adding an herbal depth that softens into cedar, moss, sandalwood, and patchouli in the base. This rich woody blend is anchored by musk and amber, ensuring a lasting, comforting presence.
