Blue Madeleine, created by Marie Salamagne and launched in 2024 by Atelier des Ors, is a complex composition that blends the freshness of bergamot and black tea with the warmth of cinnamon and praline. The fragrance opens with green and fresh spicy notes, creating an initial contrast that evolves into a rich blend of woody, balsamic, and lactonic accords. At its heart, it features rose and milk, adding layers of sweetness and depth before settling into a base of sandalwood, Peru balsam, and cade oil, which lend a dry, resinous warmth.

Blue Madeleine is best applied lightly at first — its rich base notes take time to develop. The cinnamon and black tea are prominent initially but give way to deeper layers after an hour or so. This fragrance reads better close to skin than in a room, making it perfect for intimate settings rather than wide-open spaces.
