The Story

Launched in 1978 by Penhaligon's, Bluebell is a Floral Green fragrance crafted by perfumer Michael Pickthall. The composition opens with a burst of citruses and hyacinth before settling into the heart of lily-of-the-valley and rose, enriched with cyclamen and jasmine. The base notes of galbanum, cloves, and cinnamon add warmth and depth to this fresh and floral scent. Bluebell embodies the house’s legacy of elegant and sophisticated fragrances.

Application Tips

Apply Bluebell sparingly to allow its intricate layers to unfold naturally. The fragrance’s warm spicy base notes emerge after an hour, so it's best suited for daytime or evening wear when you want a scent that evolves gracefully throughout the day.
