Alexandra Carlin is a French perfumer at Symrise who discovered her passion for perfumery at eighteen and trained at ISIPCA in Versailles, graduating in 2002. She spent three years at Robertet in Grasse before joining Symrise in 2007 as a Junior Perfumer, going on to create fragrances for houses including Amouage, Ferrari, and Victoria's Secret. Her work draws heavily on literature and self-expression through movement, translating the atmospheres she reads about into scent. She received the Center of Luxury and Creation award in 2019.
