Launched in 2012 by Robert Piguet and crafted by perfumer Aurélien Guichard, Bois Noir is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that blends the warmth of amber and musk with the depth of rich woods. The composition opens with guaiac wood and cedar, creating a robust foundation before patchouli and resins add complexity to the heart. Labdanum provides an earthy richness, while sandalwood rounds out the base with its smooth, creamy texture. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor too austere, striking a balance that feels both comforting and sophisticated.

Application Tips
One or two sprays are sufficient as Bois Noir develops slowly on the skin. The woody notes project well but maintain a close-to-skin presence, making it ideal for cooler evenings when you want a warm, enveloping scent.
