The Quick Read

Respected, if divisive — a sweet, woody composition with a patchouli undertone. Voted best for year-round wear — and genuinely unisex.

The Story

Bonbon Pop by The House of Oud is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance for women and men, launched in 2023. Perfumer Douglas Morel crafts this scent around the tension between sweet and woody notes, creating a composition that feels both playful and grounded. White peach and coconut open with a vibrant burst of fruity sweetness, while patchouli and precious woods lend an earthy depth that keeps things from becoming overly saccharine. Bergamot adds a fresh citrus edge to the mix, allowing the scent to evolve gracefully throughout the day.

Application Tips

Bonbon Pop has a sweet opening that fades quickly, so layering it with a light mist on pulse points can help maintain its fruity character. The musky and woody base notes carry the scent well into the evening, making this fragrance ideal for afternoon events transitioning to night.
