Caroline Dumur is a perfumer with IFF whose passion for scent traces back to childhood summers on her grandparents' farm in northern France, surrounded by flowers, hay, cheese, and animals. Her parents, both editors, introduced her to the biographies of master perfumers, which solidified her ambition, and she went on to earn a chemistry degree in fragrance and flavors before completing her Master's at ISIPCA. She is drawn to dark, mysterious, and unafraid associations, believing each composition should carry the imprint of its creator.
