Launched in 2024, Buio by Meo Fusciuni is a sophisticated Oriental Woody fragrance for both women and men, crafted by perfumer Giuseppe Imprezzabile. This composition opens with the rich, smoky character of cade oil, which creates an intriguing contrast to the fresh spicy notes of carrot seeds and frankincense. As it evolves, the heart introduces a balance between floral accents like osmanthus and peony, and the warm, enveloping presence of labdanum and amber. The base notes of leather, patchouli, and musk ground the fragrance with earthy depth, ensuring that Buio remains both complex and inviting.

Giuseppe Imprezzabile was born in Mazara del Vallo, Sicily, in 1977, and studied Herbal Techniques at the pharmaceutical faculty in Parma before continuing into anthropology and ethnobotany. Perfumery became his full-time work from 2009, working under the pseudonym Meo Fusciuni — combining his father's nickname 'Meo' and his grandfather's nickname 'Fusciuni' — and preferring to describe himself as an 'Aromatario' rather than a perfumer.
