The Story

Carbonara by Lorenzo Pazzaglia was launched in 2020 as a complex unisex fragrance that defies easy categorization. The nose behind this creation, Lorenzo Pazzaglia himself, has crafted a scent that oscillates between sweet and spicy notes, anchored by woody and aromatic elements. Opening with the sharpness of black pepper and pink pepper, it quickly transitions to the warmth of coconut and smoke, creating an intriguing tension. The heart notes of elemi resin, jasmine, and rum add depth and complexity, while the base notes of bourbon vanilla, amber, sandalwood, and agarwood (oud) provide a rich, enveloping finish.

Application Tips

Carbonara is best applied with a moderate amount to avoid overwhelming its nuanced layers. The spicy top notes dissipate quickly, so it's essential to let the fragrance develop on your skin for at least an hour before reapplying if needed. This scent reads better close to the skin rather than diffusing into the air.

The aroma of a perfectly cooked dish — where the smoky heat of black pepper meets the creamy sweetness of coconut and vanilla, all wrapped in the comforting embrace of wood smoke.
