The Quick Read
Respected, if divisive — a amber, sweet composition with a woody undertone. Voted best for spring and fall wear — and genuinely unisex.

Launched in 2026, Celest by Floris is a fragrance that bridges the gap between warmth and freshness. Created by Roberta Ion, it opens with aromatic notes of chamomile and bergamot, which are then grounded by balsamic elements like davana and honey. The heart of this composition features cedar and opoponax, adding depth to its sweet and woody profile. Ambergris and musk anchor the base, creating a rich, enveloping scent that feels both modern and lasting.

Application Tips
Celest is best applied in two sprays to the wrists and neck. The top notes dissipate quickly, so it’s essential to let the fragrance settle before layering with other scents or leaving for an event. This composition reads better close to skin rather than filling a room, making it ideal for intimate settings.
