Launched in 2024 by Adamo Parfum and crafted by perfumer Julien Rasquinet, Clifton is an Oriental Woody fragrance that balances the warmth of spices with powdery and sweet elements. It opens with cardamom and peach, creating a vibrant yet harmonious blend. The heart notes of orris and orange blossom add depth, while sandalwood, cedarwood, tonka, vetiver, vanilla, and amber form a rich base that reads as both comforting and sophisticated.

Application Tips
Apply Clifton with two sprays to ensure the powdery heart notes have enough time to develop. The base notes are long-lasting, so reapply sparingly throughout the day if you want to maintain that initial warmth.

Julien Rasquinet’s life took a decisive turn when his father met nose extraordinaire Pierre Bourdon, by accident in an airport. Rasquinet who didn’t know anything about perfumery beyond his own passion for it, called Bourdon, who decided to take him instead of thousands of other candidates to be his last student, and bare his legacy, as Edmond Roudnitska had done with him. Call it perfumer’s intuition.
