Jacques Cavallier Belletrud crafted Coffee Break for Maison Martin Margiela in 2019, a composition where the aromatic warmth of coffee is balanced by fresh, spicy notes and creamy undertones. The fragrance opens with pepper and orange blossom before settling into a heart of lavender and patchouli, creating an intriguing tension between freshness and depth. As it develops, the base layers reveal rich tonka bean, milk, and vanilla, evoking the comforting warmth of a midday coffee break.

Application Tips
Apply two sprays to your pulse points — this fragrance blooms gradually over time. The aromatic top notes will fade within an hour, but the warm base notes carry through the rest of the day. Perfect for daytime wear when you want a comforting scent that evolves with you.
