François Demachy crafted Colonia Club for Acqua di Parma, launching it in 2015 as an aromatic and fresh interpretation of the brand's classic heritage. The composition opens with a bright burst of bergamot, lemon, and mandarin orange, balanced by the green freshness of petitgrain and galbanum. Lavender and geranium add a subtle herbal touch before giving way to the earthy depth of Haitian vetiver, underscored by warm ambergris and musk. François Demachy is the in-house perfumer-creator at Christian Dior, a title that places him among the most influential noses in the world. Born in Cannes and raised in Grasse — the historic capital of perfumery — he carries the craft in his blood. Before joining Dior in 2006, he spent two decades at Chanel.
