Launched in 2012, Colonia Oud by Acqua di Parma is a blend that marries the brand's signature Italian elegance with an intriguing oud note. François Demachy crafted this composition to be both familiar and unexpected: the bright Calabrian bergamot and Italian orange open like a classic cologne, but quickly give way to the smoky warmth of agarwood (oud). The addition of leather and musk adds depth, creating a scent that is both woody and animalic. This fragrance stands out as a modern take on Acqua di Parma’s heritage, blending tradition with contemporary sophistication.

Application Tips
Apply Colonia Oud in light layers to allow its nuanced notes to unfold gradually. The oud and leather base notes take time to develop, so it's best used for daytime through evening transitions rather than quick spritzes.
