Cry Baby is a sweet and nostalgic fragrance that captures the essence of playful innocence with an irreverent edge. The scent opens with a clash of dark fruity notes, strawberry milk, and a lipstick accord that contrasts beautifully with forest fruits. At its heart lies a gentle baby lotion accord designed to evoke childhood memories and nostalgia. Catherine Selig knew from an early age she would become a perfumer, inspired by her great-grandfather, the 19th-century Swiss Maitre Gantier Parfumeur Meinrad Hilfiger. At age 10 her father gave her his formula book, and she went on to train at ISIPCA in Versailles with an internship in Grasse, then spent nearly 13 years at Firmenich before joining Takasago in May 2018, where she has created fragrances for GUESS Originals and Harlem Perfume Co.
