Launched in 2025 by Versace, Crystal Emerald is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women created by perfumer Gaël Montero. The composition opens with the bright zest of bergamot and pink pepper, creating an immediate sense of freshness and energy. Of French-Spanish heritage and raised in Madrid, Gaël Montero studied perfumery at Montpellier University and was mentored by perfumer Jordi Fernandez in Barcelona. After working as a Perfumer Assistant at Procter & Gamble, he joined Givaudan's Perfumery School in Paris, rising from lab assistant to junior perfumer, and now works as a perfumer for Memo Paris, based in Dubai.
