Sonia Constant trained at ISIPCA in Paris and the Givaudan perfume school before spending over twenty-four years at Givaudan, where she created Tom Ford's Ombre Leather and Noir Extrême, Narciso Rodriguez for Her Pur Musc, Mugler's Angel Nova, and Jean Paul Gaultier's La Belle and Le Beau. In 2017 she co-founded her own fragrance brand, Ella K Parfums. She carries a Leica camera and Moleskine notepad everywhere, drawing inspiration from her travels, images, and the colors and atmospheres she encounters.
