Decadence by Marc Jacobs was launched in 2015 and created by perfumers Annie Buzantian and Ann Gottlieb. This Oriental Floral fragrance opens with a sharp blend of plum and saffron, which can be polarizing for many enthusiasts who find it overly harsh. The heart notes of iris, orris, jasmine sambac, Bulgarian rose, and vetiver add layers of warmth and sweetness that contrast the initial sharpness. Despite winning the Fragrance Foundation Award for 'Fragrance of the Year – Women's Prestige' in 2016, Decadence has been criticized by some as a loud 'club scent,' not quite living up to its glamorous marketing promises.

Application Tips
Decadence projects strongly from its initial sharp top notes, so use it sparingly in warmer weather. The powdery earthy base takes time to bloom, so give it an hour before reapplying if you want the full effect.
