Launched in 2023 by Akro, East is a fragrance created by Olivier Cresp as an ode to the United Arab Emirates. The composition opens with raspberry, bringing a bright and fruity freshness that quickly gives way to the rich and mysterious woody notes of oud. Leather adds depth and warmth, while ambroxan in the base provides a smoky, musky finish that grounds the scent. East is designed to evoke the vibrant street markets of Dubai and the welcoming homes across the Emirates.

Application Tips
Apply East sparingly; the raspberry top note is fleeting but impactful. The base notes of oud and ambroxan take about half an hour to fully settle on the skin, so give it time before reapplying. This fragrance reads best close to the skin rather than filling a room.
