Launched in 2006 by Caron and crafted by Richard Fraysse, Eau de Reglisse (Liquorice) is a fresh spicy fragrance that marries the crispness of lemon verbena with the warmth of licorice. The opening notes of mandarin orange and ginger add a zesty vibrancy, while basil infuses the composition with an herbal freshness. Richard Fraysse, a third-generation perfumer and son of Lanvin's André Fraysse (creator of Arpège), was the in-house perfumer for the House of Caron — a company that, from its founding, has always employed its own dedicated nose. His creations for Caron include Délire de Roses (2011), Impact Pour Un Homme (2005), and L'Anarchiste (2000). He has since retired, passing the role to his son William Fraysse.
