Launched in 2014 by Lalique, Elegance Animale is a fragrance that juxtaposes the natural and the refined. Created by perfumer Cécile Matton, it opens with saffron and peach, adding an unexpected fruity freshness to the composition before settling into a heart of rose, jasmine, and geranium. The base notes of leather, gurjan balsam, sandalwood, and warm spices create an animalic warmth that is both sensual and sophisticated.
