Launched in 1886, Empire des Indes by Oriza L. Legrand is a lasting Oriental fragrance that weaves together the warmth of spices and the richness of balsamic notes with a delicate floral touch. The composition opens with ginger and musk, creating an immediate sense of heat and depth, before settling into a heart of heliotrope and nag champa, which adds a sweet and powdery quality to the scent. At its base, opoponax, benzoin, and tonka bean create a comforting and enveloping warmth that lingers on the skin.

Application Tips
Empire des Indes projects its rich base notes more than its top ones. Apply it to pulse points for a warm, enveloping effect that lasts through the evening. Avoid over-spraying, as the spicy opening can be overwhelming in large quantities.
