Equivoque by Givenchy, launched in 2022 and crafted by François Demachy, is a Woody Spicy fragrance that defies categorization. It opens with the pungent essence of Guatemalan Cardamom, creating an immediate contrast to the warm, woody base notes of Atlas Cedar, Virginian Cedar, and Agarwood (Oud). The composition balances on the edge between freshness and warmth, with cardamom's bright spice meeting the rich depth of oud. This enigmatic accord is further enhanced by Guaiac Wood, adding a layer of complexity that makes Equivoque an elusive yet captivating scent.

Application Tips
Equivoque's top notes are bright but fade quickly, so aim for a second application after about two hours to maintain its complexity. The base notes take time to bloom fully, so it’s best applied in the morning or early afternoon for a full day of subtle depth.
