The Story

Étoile Filante by Louis Vuitton was launched in 2021 and crafted by master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. This fragrance is a celebration of joy and hope, symbolized by the shooting star that illuminates the night sky. The composition opens with a burst of strawberry, which adds an unexpected sweetness and vibrancy to the scent. At its heart, osmanthus takes center stage, blending seamlessly with jasmine and magnolia for a lush floral bouquet that evokes a sense of warmth and luxury. The base note of white musk grounds the fragrance, leaving behind a soft, comforting trail.

Application Tips

Apply Étoile Filante in layers for maximum impact. The strawberry top note is bright but short-lived, so a second application after an hour can help maintain its vibrancy. The fragrance blooms best close to the skin rather than diffusing through the air, making it perfect for intimate settings.
