Louise Turner created Spiky Muse for Ex Nihilo in 2025, capturing the essence of a composition that balances bright and bold with warm and inviting. The fragrance opens with a sharp burst of bergamot and pink pepper, giving way to a heart of strawberry and rose, which are then grounded by woody notes like akigalawood and cedarwood. This contrast between spiky freshness and soft warmth makes Spiky Muse feel both daring and comforting.
Apply Spiky Muse in two light sprays — the top notes are bright and assertive but fade within an hour. The rose and woody base will continue to develop on your skin for hours after that. It reads best close to the skin, so avoid over-spraying.
