Falcon Leather by Matière Première is a composition that captures the essence of leather and smoke with an oriental twist. Launched in 2019 and crafted by perfumer Aurélien Guichard, this fragrance opens with saffron and labdanum, creating a warm and spicy accord that transitions into a smoky heart of birch tar and agarwood (oud). The base notes of benzoin add an animalic depth, while tobacco rounds out the scent with a rich, earthy warmth. Falcon Leather is neither strictly masculine nor feminine, embodying the lasting elegance of leather paired with the complexity of oriental accords.
