Falcon Leather Extrait by Matière Première, launched in 2024 and crafted by perfumer Aurélien Guichard, is an unapologetically bold fragrance that marries the warmth of leather with a spicy, smoky complexity. The top note of saffron introduces a precious and vibrant spark before birch tar takes center stage, creating a rich, leathery heart that mimics the depth and texture of aged hide. This is further enhanced by labdanum and benzoin in the base notes, adding a resinous warmth and an animalic edge that grounds the composition with earthy sensuality.
