Launched in 2019 by Bvlgari, Falkar is the work of renowned perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. The composition opens with fresh and warm spices like nutmeg and cinnamon, which give way to a rich heart of oud and cypriol oil. The base notes of black musk and saffron create an enveloping warmth that lingers throughout the day. Falkar is neither overly sweet nor overpowering; instead, it offers a sophisticated balance between earthy richness and spicy vibrancy.

Given its strong sillage and eternal longevity, Falkar projects well without needing excessive application. One or two sprays are enough to carry you through the day. Its warmth makes it particularly suitable for cooler weather when the spicy notes blend seamlessly with the crisp air.
Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud

Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud was born January 24, 1962, in Grasse, France, into a family of perfumers spanning his father and grandfather. He began work at a perfume factory in Grasse straight out of high school, moving through Charabot, Quest International, and PFW before joining Firmenich in 1990, where he created fragrances for Christian Dior, Givenchy, Issey Miyake, and Lancôme. In 2012 he became master perfumer for Louis Vuitton, developing the house's first fragrance collection, and in 2018 opened Louis Vuitton's Les Fontaines Parfumées creative center in Grasse. He won the Prix François Coty in 2004.
