Fatale Pink by Agent Provocateur is a Oriental Floral fragrance for women. Fatale Pink was launched in 2014. The nose behind this fragrance is Jean Claude Delville. Top notes are Yuzu, Tangerine and Whipped Cream; middle notes are Pink Lotus, Camellia and Datura; base notes are Bamboo, Musk and Saffron. Fatale, the new fragrance from Agent Provocateur, launching in June 2014, already has its first flanker in Fatale Pink edition. These two fragrances will actually be launched simultaneously, with Fatale Pink allegedly more suited for certain markets such as Asia. Both fragrances are described as seductive, enigmatic and glamorous. Fatale Pink is signed by perfumer Jean-Claude Delville. The composition starts with accords of tangerine, pear blossom and yuzu whipped cream. The base of bamboo, musk and black saffron follows night-blooming datura flower, white camellia and pink lotus in the heart. The face of the campaign is Monica Cruz. The fragrance is available in a pink bottle of the original design, as 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Bamboo

Saffron
Saffron was never new to perfumery. It appears in records of Mughal compositions and in the great leathers of the seventeenth century, and it worked as a fixative inside classic chypres — always the under-paint, never the front of the bottle. The real absolute is punishingly expensive, and its leather-honey character was long thought too eccentric for the counter.

Jean-Claude Delville is a Paris-born perfumer who began his career in perfumery at seventeen, drawn by a fascination with combining colors, musical notes, and flower arrangements. He has worked for Quest, Créations Aromatiques, IFF, Firmenich, Symrise, and Drom, creating fragrances for houses including Jean Couturier, Grès, Givenchy, Kenzo, and Vera Wang; his 1998 creation of Clinique Happy was successful enough to enter the Fragrance Foundation Hall of Fame in 2014. In 2017 he co-founded The Society of Scent, a digital platform dedicated to scent culture with its own laboratory in the South Bronx, and now works from New York City.
