Flora by Gucci Eau de Toilette launched in 2009, commissioned under creative director Frida Giannini to capture a more youthful and 'girlish' essence for the brand. This fragrance directly translates the iconic Flora print from 1966 — originally created for Princess Grace Kelly — into an olfactory experience. The composition features peony and osmanthus in its opening, leading into a heart of rose and mandarin orange before settling on a base of sandalwood, pink pepper, and patchouli. This blend of floral and fresh notes captures the spirit of Gucci's rich history while appealing to a new generation.
