Jacques Cavallier Belletrud is the master perfumer at Louis Vuitton and one of the most accomplished noses in the industry. Born in Grasse into a family of perfumers — his father worked at the legendary Chiris factory — he literally grew up among the raw materials of his craft. Before joining Louis Vuitton in 2012 to create the house's debut fragrance collection, he composed classics including Issey Miyake's L'Eau d'Issey and Stella McCartney's eponymous scent. At Vuitton, he works from an atelier in Grasse called Les Fontaines Parfumées, creating fragrances of breathtaking natural beauty.
