The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2016 by Floris, a house with roots dating back to 1730, A Rose For... is an Oriental Floral fragrance that marries traditional elegance with contemporary sophistication. The composition opens with Darjeeling Black tea and incense before giving way to the heart of red rose and agarwood (oud). This interplay between floral warmth and woody depth is further enriched by notes of tuberose, orris, cedar, patchouli, amber, sandalwood, and vanilla. The result is a fragrance that feels both lasting and modern.
A single spritz is sufficient to capture the essence of A Rose For... as it develops gradually on the skin. It's best applied in the evening when the warm spicy and woody notes can unfold fully without being overwhelmed by daytime freshness.
