Launched in 2013 by Frederic Malle, Dries Van Noten par Frederic Malle is an Oriental Woody fragrance crafted by perfumer Bruno Jovanovic. This scent opens with a fresh spicy accord that transitions into the warmth of vanilla and powdery notes, anchored by rich balsamic and patchouli bases. The composition balances crisp freshness with enveloping warmth, making it a versatile choice for both day and night.
Apply one to two sprays initially — the fresh spicy top notes are vibrant but give way quickly to the powdery heart and balsamic base. This fragrance is best for daytime wear when you want a scent that evolves throughout the day rather than projecting loudly from across the room.
